Aluminium Foil and Sheet, Chosen by What You Produce

Buyers rarely start with an alloy number. They start with a production problem: a panel line that needs a facing, a membrane that needs a weathering surface, a luminaire that needs a reflector. These pages are organised that way, and each one explains what to specify before a quote is useful.

Four applications we quote most often

PIR & PUR insulation panels

Embossed and coated foil facings for panel lines. Base gauge, primer and roll build agreed with the laminator.

Roof waterproofing membranes

Bare, coated and composite foil for bitumen membrane and butyl tape producers, with a surface controlled for bonding.

Lighting reflectors

Mirror-finish sheet and coil for reflector forming, with reflectance quoted against an agreed test method.

Signage and decorative surfaces

Mirror, brushed and coated sheet for nameplates and panels, specified for printing and etching rather than appearance alone.

Aluminium foil

0.006 – 0.20 mm, alloys 1050 to 8079, for converters who already know the gauge they need.

Mirror aluminium coil

0.20 – 3.00 mm reflective sheet and coil for lighting, nameplates and decorative work.

How we quote an application

Three questions decide most of the answer: what the material is bonded to, what the finished part has to survive, and which machine it runs on. Send those three and we can propose a grade and a trial quantity instead of a catalogue page.

We supply material, not finished systems. Panel, membrane and luminaire performance belongs to the manufacturer of that product. Our quotes and test records describe the aluminium we ship.

Not sure which page fits?

Describe the part you make and the process it goes through. If the application is outside these four, say so plainly — we will tell you whether we can supply it.
