Aluminum strip is narrow-width coil produced by precision slitting of wide mother coil. KONCEN’s slitting lines hold tight width tolerance with controlled burr height — critical for stamping, transformer winding and high-speed forming lines. We supply pure aluminum strip (1xxx) for electrical and chemical use, Al-Mn strip (3xxx) for radiators and HVAC, and Al-Mg strip (5xxx) where higher strength is required.
Every batch is inspected for thickness, width tolerance, burr height and surface condition; mill test certificates and dimension reports accompany shipments. Strip is wound on cores, sealed with moisture barrier and palletized for export. SGS/BV third-party inspection is welcome before shipment.
How narrow can you slit? Standard minimum width is 4 mm; narrower widths are possible with special tooling — confirm with our sales team.
Can you control burr height? Yes. For stamping and winding applications we produce deburred edges within agreed limits and can send samples for line trials.
Which temper suits blind slat rolling? Typically 8011 or 3003 H18/H22 depending on the forming line; send your process details for a recommendation.
